My nanny girl said the F word!

Today my nanny girl(6) built a podium so she could give her presidential speech. When she was done she opened it up for questions. I asked her to address the high gas prices. She said they will speak of that during the podcast but i couldn’t listen because it’s for kids and I’m FORTY!!! Excuse me!? How old am i? Oh no she didn’t! I quickly explained to her that i was only 40 on one day this year….the day of my mammogram and vaccination. I have now returned back to the age of 25! Obviously i need to find a new job where the children will respect me and never speak of my “real” age again!

She’s so creative and inventive!

International Women’s Day

My nanny girl inspires me to be a better human

Ever since Groundhog Day my nanny girl has been appalled that she had to go to school on a holiday 😂. When i broke the news to her that she also had to go to school on St. Patrick’s day she was beside herself. She wanted to know why? I explained she only gets off school on national holidays. I explained to her i don’t make the rules. She quickly asked then who does, in which i replied the president. Her response….”we need to write him a letter.” The second we got home she got to work. She drafted this entire letter by herself, placed it in the envelope, and asked to me to address it.

Dear Mr President please give this 6 year old some answers. I have no doubt this amazing little girl will do big things when she gets older and there may be some additional holidays in all our futures 😂🙏🏼

Historical Week

I felt i needed to blog about a couple of current events, so that i can look back and remember this week! So the Cleveland Browns made the playoffs for the first time in 18 years. They play the Steelers on Sunday, but the head coach and several key players have tested positive for COVID-19. So, yeah, we are not off to a good start. The entire team has been home and not practiced at all this week!

The second historical event is the Capitol building was stormed with protestors on January 6. I was embarrassed for our country. It was sickening. I feel Trump encouraged this behavior and failed us with his lack of leadership to protect us. He has been very vocal about losing the election and i just pray these next 12 days are quiet until Biden moves into office!

After the dust settled, they continued to count the electoral votes and Biden was, again, the winner of the election!

It was indeed a dark day in America. It was an act of terrorism on American soil by American citizens. How awful is that?

My 6 year old nanny girl made this poster. Her kindergarten word of the month is acceptance. How beautiful is this? She has no idea all the hate going on the world. All she knows is we should accept everyone for who they are and love our friends!!! Children should run the country!
