This was the first craft that all 3 kids could participate in. We made a few adaptations for each kid based on their skills but overall they did the same activity. It was fun, but simple, and we love decorating the house!
We also stopped by the park to see if we could find any “signs” of spring. You see yesterday it was warm and in the mid 50’s and today is was snowing and in the low 30’s. We are soooo ready for spring. Here are some things we found that made us confident spring is just around the corner 😉
Today in northern Ohio we reached almost 60 degrees! My oldest wanted to do some art designs on her night stand, so we took it out to the garage to let her paint. My youngest wanted to dance and twirl to music. The weather was amazing and we fully enjoyed almost the entire day outside. It is also a blessing that it was so nice out because we lost power for almost 3 hours. It seems there was some sort of equipment failure and even the hospital at the corner lost their power. We just continued to play outside and were thankful it came back on just in time to make dinner. The sun is just starting to set now and we are warm inside being teased by the smell of turkey in the Instant Pot!
How cute is this shark in someone’s front yard? Children from around the neighborhood all came together to make a snow shark. Not only is it amazing, but it makes me so happy to know children worked together, OUTSIDE, and used their imaginations!!!!!
Today i decorated a little for Valentine’s Day. I have this stand in my living room that desperately needs decorated. I thought what do i have at my house that i can put together to create a cute decoration. So i used a vase, leftover sand from my wedding, made the word LOVE on my Cricut, found a fall tree branch outside, hung some ribbon and attached felt hearts! Voila i introduce you to my heart tree. Kind of reminds me of the Charlie Brown tree. Cute, simple, and cheap…..3 of my favorite crafting words!!!!!
